Plinko strategy is primarily about risk level selection and bankroll management. The ball falls where physics takes it — but choosing the right settings for your bankroll is entirely within your control.
Risk levels explained
Low risk
Frequent wins, lower maximum multipliers. Bankroll stays relatively stable. Best for extended play with smaller bankrolls.
Medium risk
Balanced distribution. Reasonable win frequency with occasional spike multipliers. The most versatile setting and recommended starting point.
High risk
Centre buckets pay very low (0.2-0.5x). Edge buckets pay very high (100x+). Most balls land near centre. Requires large bankroll buffer.
Row count selection
8 rows: Tighter distribution, less variance.
12 rows: Balanced. Good all-round choice.
16 rows: Wide distribution, high variance. Moonshot play.
Bankroll requirements
Low risk: 100x your bet size minimum.
Medium risk: 200x minimum.
High risk: 500x minimum.
Players who switch from low to high risk mid-session after a losing run are chasing losses. Risk level should be chosen based on bankroll size — not recent results.
Play Plinko at Stake or BC.Game — both offer all three risk levels.
